Sometimes when there seems too much detail in your surroundings and the world seems to be going so fast you can't quite keep up with it, it is nice to imagine yourself in a peaceful landscape with nothing in it.
I painted this as something to focus on in meditation and when practicing mindfulness. There are lots of little details and textures and this layering is a lovely quality of the oil and cold wax as a medium.
This work is painted on a cradled wooden panel. The sides are 2cm deep and wooden. This means it can be hung as it is revealing the unpainted wooden sides, or framed if preferred.

I have done my best to match the digital colours with the colours of the actual work but as always, colours may differ a little from screen to screen and therefore may be slightly different in real life viewing.

Paintings packaged in cardboard boxes will be wrapped in acid free glassine paper and biodegradable or recycled bubble wrap for extra protection.
Crated paintings are delivered in a wooden crate made by specialists. The crate is lined with a protective foam or polystyrene layer. This will need unscrewing on arrival.
The wooden crates are more expensive but offer a much higher level of protection, especially for larger pieces. I offer two levels of packaging so my customers can decide if they would like to spend that extra money on a bit more piece of mind. I have sent paintings both abroad and within the UK using boxes and crates without any problems. I take pride in packaging my art in the most safe and secure way possible. Please understand that I cannot be held responsible for the delivery service or any accidents the delivery may face. This is why I recommend Wooden Crate postage for larger pieces.
The delivery prices have been calculated by adding the costs of having the crates made or the packaging I use, to the shipping cost. I get no extra money from recommending a crated delivery.
